Rules and etiquette of Elea Golf Club

The par-71 course for 18 holes was designed by legendary golfer Sir Nick Faldo. It is quite challenging, has many natural features and boasts stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea.

Elea Estate club is happy to welcome not only masters and experts but also beginners, regardless of their age or ability. This is possible because of qualified PGA professionals and small group lessons with a personalized program.

Etiquette

- Tee starts with 10-minute intervals;
- All players must arrive to tee start 5 minutes prior to their scheduled start time;
- All players must wear soft spiked golf shoes. The use of metal spikes on the golf course is prohibited;
- Dress code: no beachwear, jeans, athletic shoes, T-shirts. Socks are mandatory;
- Players are responsible for any injuries or fatalities;
- Each player must have a golf bag with their own set of clubs;
- Rental of equipment is possible upon availability. Reservations are recommended;
- Player is responsible for the rental equipment and the buggy;
- Buggy can carry maximum two players and two golf bags. People under the age of 18 cannot drive buggy;
- Players are required to replace divots on the fairway, repair pitch marks on the greens and rake bunkers after play.

Important. It is the responsibility of the company selling golf tours to inform their customers of the above requirements. If customers are denied permission to play due to non-compliance with the above rules, there will be no refund.

Weather conditions

The course may be closed for the following reasons:
- Flooding
- Thunder and lightning
- Any danger to players or the field.

The decision to close the field in bad weather is made by the club. All players who are scheduled to play on the day the field is closed must first be offered an alternate game day with a rescheduled payment. All guests who are unable to attend a game on an alternate day will be refunded.

The field may be closed after the start of the game
- If player has not completed more than 8 holes, money will be refunded;
- If player has completed more than 8 holes, but not more than 13 holes, the 9 hole coupon will be refunded;

If any of the above occur, the club will make adjustments to the customer's voucher. The corrected voucher must be signed by the club manager and the customer. If a customer requests an alternate start time, an 18-hole credit voucher may be issued at the club front desk if a suitable start time is available within the next 48 hours.

If the course is open, but the use of buggies is prohibited
Prohibiting the use of buggies is not considered a reason for players not showing up for a booked game. No refund will be given for no-shows. However, if the customer can provide a valid medical certificate confirming that he cannot travel without a buggy, the money will be refunded.
