Rules and etiquette of Aphrodite Hills Golf Club

Advance booking is highly recommended for access to the Aphrodite Hills Golf Course.

Handicaps

Confirmation of handicap is required to book a game at Aphrodite Hills, with a maximum of 28 for men and a maximum of 36 for women. Players who do not meet the set handicap may be asked to leave the field without refund.

All club members and guests must register at the Golf Pro Shop prior to play.

Dress code

At Aphrodite Hills any golf clothing that is internationally recognized and which can be purchased at any pro shop is considered acceptable. Denim and other sportswear is not permitted. Shoes must be soft spiked only.

Game time

First tees at 07:00, except for December and January when the first tee is at 07:27;

Starts at 9 minute intervals;

Flights are made up of 4 balls, so players who book 2 or 3 balls should expect to be paired with other players;

Players must only use their own clubs;

Trainings on the golf course are prohibited;

Children under the age of 12 must be supervised;

Spectators or caddies are not allowed to accompany players around the course;

Marshals have the right to ask players to leave the course if they do not comply with the rules.

Use of buggies

At Aphrodite Hills, only buggies may be driven. Drivers must be at least 18 years of age. No more than 2 persons and 2 golf bags may be in the buggy. All players are responsible for any damage to the buggy and other rental equipment.

Course closure

The golf course may be closed due to weather conditions, any damage to the area or tournament events. Alternatives are available from the Golf Pro Shop.
